NUEOS is a UK oral care brand on a mission to bring modern science and sustainable design to your daily routine. We combine the NUEOS Light Bath - a red and blue LED oral device - with a choice of toothpaste and mouthwash tablets types to create a complete, science-backed oral care system that goes well beyond brushing.
What makes NUEOS different from regular toothpaste brands?

Most oral care products were designed decades ago. NUEOS brings together three things that conventional brands don't: LED light therapy (red and blue), tablet-format toothpaste and mouthwash that are plastic-free and precisely dosed, and - in our Postbiotic range - Lactobacillus postbiotic support for a balanced oral environment. The Starter Kit

What is in the Starter Kit?

The NUEOS Starter Kit - Generation 2 - includes:

  • NUEOS Light Bath device (Generation 2) with its own travel case
  • Two month's toothpaste tablets
  • Two month's mouthwash tablets
  • Two reusable bathroom tins (one for toothpaste, one for mouthwash)
  • Dental floss and Floss reusable tin

Everything you need to begin your new oral care routine. All packaging is recyclable.
What is the 5-step NUEOS routine?
  1. Floss - remove debris from between teeth and along the gumline.
  2. Bathe - chew a toothpaste tablet and move the foam around your mouth. Then use the Light Bath for one minute.
  3. Brush - use your wet toothbrush (manual or electric) with the natural foam already in your mouth. No extra toothpaste needed.
  4. Rinse out the toothpaste - spit thoroughly. Do not swallow.
  5. Wash - chew a mouthwash tablet for a post-hygienist finish. Spit residual. Do not rinse with water afterwards - let it work.
What is different about Generation 2?

Generation 2 of the Starter Kit features an improved Light Bath device with upgraded circuitry and better materials, a dedicated travel case for the Light Bath, and updated packaging. The core routine and product ingredients remain the same. If you have Generation 1 you can continue using it - Generation 2 is an enhancement, not a replacement. Oh and don't forget floss is in the box from the start.
Can I buy the Starter Kit as a one-off without subscribing?

Yes. The Starter Kit can be purchased as a one-off. You are not automatically enrolled in a subscription. After your first order you can choose to subscribe to bi-monthly tablet refills whenever you are ready - there is no pressure to commit upfront.
What are my buying options for the Starter Kit?

You have two options:

  • One-off purchase - buy the Starter Kit once, with no ongoing commitment. You can add a refill subscription later whenever you choose.
  • Subscribe - buy the Starter Kit and set up bi-monthly refills at the same time. Subscribers receive free UK delivery on refill orders.
Which tablet formula comes in the Starter Kit - Original or Postbiotic?

Do I need the Starter Kit to use NUEOS tablets?

The Starter Kit is the recommended starting point because it includes the Light Bath device, which is central to the NUEOS routine. You can buy toothpaste and mouthwash tablets separately, but to get the full benefit of the system - including the LED light therapy - the Starter Kit is where to begin.
Is delivery included with the Starter Kit?

Yes - UK delivery is free on the Starter Kit.

3-Month Bundle

What is the 3-Month Get-Started Bundle?

The 3-Month Get-Started Bundle is a one-off purchase containing three months' supply of the original NUEOS toothpaste and 2 months supply of mouthwash tablets. It does not include the Light Bath device. It is designed as an accessible way to try the tablets, or to stock up on refills. It does come with the bathroom tins to store your tabs safely.
Does the 3-Month Bundle include the Light Bath?

No. The bundle contains tablets only - toothpaste and mouthwash. If you want the full NUEOS system including the Light Bath device, the Starter Kit is the right place to start.

What is the difference between the 3-Month Bundle and the refill packs?

NUEOS toothpaste tablets are pre-measured, solid toothpaste in tablet form. One tablet = one use. Chew to activate, move the foam around your mouth, then brush with a wet toothbrush. No tube, no waste, no overuse. Plastic-free and travel-friendly.
Why use toothpaste tablets instead of a tube?

Tablets offer several advantages over conventional toothpaste:

  • Pre-measured dose every time - no squeeze, no waste

What are the ingredients in the Original toothpaste tablets?

98% of the tablet is made from naturally derived ingredients.

Do the toothpaste tablets contain fluoride?

Yes. NUEOS toothpaste tablets contain 1000 ppm sodium fluoride - the level recommended by dental professionals for adult use. Fluoride works alongside hydroxyapatite (HAp) for dual enamel protection.
What is hydroxyapatite (HAp) and why is it in the tablets?

Hydroxyapatite is a biomimetic mineral structurally identical to the mineral in your tooth enamel. It helps support remineralisation - filling micro-lesions and reinforcing enamel alongside fluoride. Together, fluoride and hydroxyapatite provide dual enamel protection.
Do the tablets have a whitening effect?

Yes. The tablets contain PAP (Phthalimidoperoxycaproic Acid), a peroxide-free whitening agent, plus papain (a papaya-derived enzyme) and silica for gentle surface polishing. The combination is effective at lifting surface stains from coffee, tea, wine, and smoking. They will not alter the intrinsic colour of enamel.
Should I rinse after using the toothpaste tablet?

Yes - spit thoroughly after brushing. Do not swallow. Unlike mouthwash tablets, you do rinse the toothpaste out.
How many tablets do I use per brush?

One tablet = one use. Use twice daily as part of your oral care routine.
Are the toothpaste tablets safe for daily use?

Yes. The tablets are designed for twice-daily use. They are SLS-free, peroxide-free, and free from harsh abrasives.
Can the tablets damage my enamel?

No. The formula is free from peroxide and harsh abrasives. The hydroxyapatite included actively supports enamel health.
Can I travel with the toothpaste tablets?

Yes. Tablets are solid, so they are not subject to liquid restrictions. TSA/airport security compliant.
Are the toothpaste tablets suitable for people with sensitive teeth?

What are NUEOS mouthwash tablets?

NUEOS mouthwash tablets are concentrated, solid mouthwash in tablet form. One tablet = one rinse. Chew to dissolve, swish around your mouth for 20–30 seconds, then spit. No plastic bottle, no alcohol, no harsh antiseptics.
What are the ingredients in the Original mouthwash tablets?

100% of the tablet is made from naturally derived ingredients.

Do the mouthwash tablets contain fluoride, alcohol or chlorhexidine?

No. The mouthwash tablets are free from fluoride, alcohol, and chlorhexidine. They are formulated to support oral balance without harsh antiseptic action.
Should I rinse with water after using the mouthwash tablet?

No - do not rinse with water afterwards. Spit the residual and let the active ingredients continue to work. Wait at least 15 minutes before eating or drinking.
How long after using the mouthwash tablet can I eat or drink?

Wait at least 15 minutes. This is to avoid any impact on the taste of what you consume and to allow the active ingredients to work.
Is the mouthwash tablet safe for daily use?

Yes. The mouthwash tablets are designed for daily use - they are alcohol-free and formulated to work with your oral environment, not strip it.
Why no alcohol in the mouthwash?

Alcohol-based mouthwashes are effective in the short term but can cause dryness, irritation, and disruption to the oral microbiome with repeated daily use. NUEOS mouthwash tablets are alcohol-free by design.

What are the Postbiotic mouthwash tablets?

The Postbiotic mouthwash tablets build on the Original formula by adding Lactobacillus postbiotic - helping support a balanced oral environment with every rinse. Alcohol-free, plastic-free, and designed for daily use.

Yes - and daily use is recommended. Unlike antiseptic mouthwashes, the postbiotic formula works with your oral biology rather than disrupting it. The benefit is cumulative: consistent daily use supports a better-balanced oral environment over time.

How long does a 5-Piece Refill Bundle last?

Each sachet contains 62 tablets - enough for twice-daily use for one month. With 2 toothpaste and 2 mouthwash sachets, the bundle provides approximately two months' supply of each. Unless product specific information indicates otherwise.

What is in the 4-Piece Refill?

The 4-Piece Refill contains:

How does the subscription work?

When you subscribe, bi-monthly refills of toothpaste and mouthwash tablets are sent automatically to your address. Your card is charged on each dispatch. You will receive an email notification before each delivery. No action is needed - everything runs on autopilot.
Is there a minimum subscription period?

Can I pause or skip a refill delivery?

Refills are sent automatically every two months. If you need to pause or skip a delivery, contact the support team as soon as possible before your next dispatch date. A number of days before dispatch will be needed to make any adjustments. Once dispatched, any cancellation will apply to the next delivery.
Will I be reminded before each refill ships?

Yes - you will receive an email notification before each refill is dispatched. No action is required unless you want to make changes.

The Light Bath

What does the Light Bath do?

The Light Bath is a hands-free, one-minute oral device that uses red and blue LED light as part of your daily routine.

  • Blue light: helps lift surface stains and works in combination with the PAP ingredient in NUEOS toothpaste tablets.
  • Red light: supports gum tissue and a calmer oral environment.

Used consistently, the Light Bath enhances the effectiveness of the rest of your NUEOS routine.
How do I use the Light Bath?
  1. After chewing a toothpaste tablet and distributing the foam, place the Light Bath mouthpiece in your mouth.
  2. Press and hold the button on the front for 1 second to start.
  3. The device runs a one-minute red and blue cycle, then beeps when complete.
  4. Remove, turn off, rinse and place back in its dock, then proceed to brushing.
How do I charge the Light Bath?

Stand the Light Bath in its docking station and connect via USB-C cable (supplied). The logo on the front pulses while charging and stays illuminated when full. A full charge typically takes under one hour.
How long does the battery last?

Typically 4–6 weeks on a full charge. It does not need to be kept plugged in.
How do I clean the Light Bath?

After each use: rinse the silicone mouthpiece under water and shake dry. Periodically: gently scrub with your toothbrush. Wipe the main body and charging stand with a soft damp cloth as needed. No special equipment required.
Is the Light Bath waterproof?

Water resistant and sealed - safe to rinse. Not designed to be submerged.
Can I use the Light Bath with braces, veneers or crowns?

Please consult your dental practitioner for personal advice.
Is the Light Bath compatible with other toothpaste brands?

The Light Bath's red and blue frequencies are optimised to work with NUEOS toothpaste tablets. It can be used with other toothpastes, but the full benefit is designed around the NUEOS formula.

Where does NUEOS deliver?

Currently within England, Wales, and Scotland only. We do not currently ship to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, or internationally. EU and wider international shipping is planned.
How long does delivery take?

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days. Delivery typically takes a further 2–4 working days typically a 48hr tracked or a similar tracked service is used. Supplier varies over time and is choosen by our 3PL based on feedback and seasonality. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is free on the Starter Kit and on all subscription refill orders. For other products, delivery is calculated at the basket. Free delivery may apply during promotional periods - check the top of the page for current offers.
What is the returns policy?

Are NUEOS products plastic-free?

Yes. Toothpaste and mouthwash tablets come in paper-aluminium refill sachets (no plastic). The reusable tins are metal and designed to last a lifetime. The Light Bath is itself recyclable like other small electical appliance. NUEOS is free from synthetic microplastics in all formulas.
Are the sachets recyclable?

Yes. The sachets are made from a paper-aluminium composite - the outer layer is recyclable paper, the inner layer is aluminium foil. Recycle as your local council advises.
Are the tins reusable?

Yes. The tins are designed to last a lifetime. When you reorder tablets, simply decant the new sachet into your tin.
Are NUEOS products vegan?

Yes. All formulas are free from animal-derived ingredients.
Are NUEOS products tested on animals?

No. NUEOS never tests on animals and only works with suppliers who uphold the same cruelty-free principles.
